Founded in 1984 by the owner Richard Earle, Oriel Systems has established a pedigree for developing bespoke software applications related to the telemetric and system control industry. The company boasts past and present clients such as US based Chick Master Inc, British Petroleum PLC, Flogas Britain, several Government led Internal Drainage Boards (IDBs) and many more.
The company is growing and currently employs 12 members of staff ranging in experience and qualifications, from electrical and electronics engineers responsible for installing and maintaining equipment in the field, to software developers based at our head office in Chippenham.
With a robust financial history, and even stronger 2018 forecast, the company expects to increase it’s strength in the telemetry and control systems market across multiple industries, with significant growth expected over the coming years.

Richard has a vast experience within the software development and control systems industry, having worked at Westinghouse Systems and then later founding what is today, Oriel Systems. The management and staff of the company provides a unique blend of experience across many sectors, including telecommunications, IT systems, software development, EMEA power infrastructure, proprietary software, renewable energy, electrical installation and mechanical engineering.
